Root Academy – Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Root Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality educational content and a smooth learning experience. This policy explains your rights regarding cancellations and refunds.

1. General Refund Policy

  • You may request a refund for any eligible course within 14 days of purchase.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (bank account, UPI, card, or wallet).
  • After the 14-day window, no refunds will be processed.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refund requests may be denied if:

  • A significant portion of the course content has already been accessed, viewed, or downloaded.
  • The refund request is made after 14 days of purchase.
  • Multiple or repeated refund requests are made for the same course.
  • The user’s account has been suspended or disabled due to violation of Root Academy’s Terms of Use or Code of Conduct.
  • The course was purchased through a third-party sale, promotion, or partner platform (refund requests must be directed to that vendor).

3. Subscription Plans

  • Monthly / Annual Subscription Plans purchased directly from Root Academy are non-refundable, except where required by applicable Indian law.
  • Users on a free trial can cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

4. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  • Log in to your Root Academy account.
  • Navigate to My Courses / Purchases.
  • Select the course you wish to refund and click Request Refund.
  • Submit any requested details or documents (if applicable).
  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 working days, depending on your bank/payment provider.

5. Course Cancellation by Root Academy

  • If Root Academy cancels a course due to unforeseen circumstances, students will receive a full refund.
  • Any updates or changes to course schedules will be communicated via email and on your Root Academy account dashboard.

6. Abuse of Refund Policy

Root Academy reserves the right to limit or deny refund requests in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or violation of our policies. Examples include:

  • Multiple refund requests for the same course.
  • Completing most of the course content before requesting a refund.
  • Attempting to manipulate or exploit the refund process.
